Kwantu Private Game Reserve is a 6,000-hectare malaria-free reserve on the Sidbury Plains between Gqeberha and Makhanda, beside the Bushman’s River. These details help explain why the reserve can suit a mixed-age group, conference or wedding party as well as a couple on safari, but they should be confirmed individually: an activity may be seasonal, require a separate booking, be restricted by weather or not be included in a chosen package.
The main safari value remains time with experienced guides in a malaria-free Big Five setting. In Big Five country, guests must follow guide instructions, stay inside authorised areas and never treat a lodge boundary as permission to wander.
